Jim graduated from William Tyndale College with a Bachelors in Religious Education and then completed his Masters in Religious Education from Tennessee Temple and has worked in the area of children’s ministry for several churches and camps.
He ("PJ" - Pastor Jim) joined Fairhaven Church in 1989 as the children’s pastor. Jim currently serves as one of the children’s pastors, now under the leadership of the Kids Ministries Team Leader, and his son, Todd Weir.
Jim and his wife have four adult children and nine grandchildren. He loves kayaking, horse back riding, hiking, gardening and generally being out in God’s creation.
