UPDATE: We've published additional details on the tornado relief effort since this post was written. Read the latest update here. Fairhaven family, We’re heartbroken over the devastation many of our friends and neighbors experienced during last night's tornadoes and storms. Thank you for your prayers and concern for our community. We’re partnering with several churches closer to the affected areas – including First Baptist Kettering, Christ Community Bible Church, Faith Life Church, The Ridge Church and Corinthian Baptist Church – who are already assisting local storm victims. We want to help supply resources to multiply their efforts, so they can better serve the people in their areas. You can provide support by giving in one of three ways:
We’ll keep in touch with our partners and pass along any specific needs or serving opportunities they share with us. Local news outlets have also published this list of other ways to get involved. In the meantime, let’s continue to pray for all those affected by this disaster. If you’ve been directly affected by the storms and have an immediate need, please let us know how you’ve been impacted. Additionally, here’s a list of other organizations also providing assistance. |
