Unfortunately, grief and loss are part of life. Whether you’ve lost a family member or a friend, processing grief is as personal and unique as the person you lost. There is no quick fix and no roadmap that fits everyone or every situation. But you can find help and hope during the most difficult of times.
Fairhaven Church is offering a Grief Seminar presented by Stephanie Hittle, MS, LPCC. The seminar will educate you about the difference between healthy and unhealthy grief and give you strategies to cope during this difficult time. The free Grief Seminar will be held at the Centerville Campus on Saturday, February 4 at 10:00 AM.
In addition to the seminar, a Grief Share support group will begin on February 23. The group provides support as people walk through the journey of grief after losing a loved one. Grief Share uses a video-based program featuring top experts on grief and recovery subjects, along with group discussions and a workbook for personal reflection. The group will meet at the Centerville Campus on Thursdays from 7:00-8:30 PM.
You can register for the Grief Seminar or Grief Share online at fairhavenchurch.org or by calling 937-434-8647.
